The first time I cooked at home was around 13 years old. I wanted to learn how, so my mom wrote down pretty simple steps to make a really easy bean stew. That’s where it all started. I try not to cook specific quantities from a recipe ( That’s why I suck when it comes to pastry making) but like to experiment and see what I have, to make the most of my fridge and pantry. Having that flexibility of not following steps when cooking on a daily basis, makes it more fun I think, sort of an adventure. You get to learn from your own experience about flavors, combinations, no-no’s and definitely yes options when it comes to cooking by yourself. I’ll try to specify amounts and ingredients, but feel free to do some changes and experiment by yourself! Hope you can tell me about your own experience as well!
